From May 1, 2025 Board Meeting
The Maroa-Forsyth CUSD#2 Board of Education held a special meeting on May 1st at 5:30 in the MFHS library.
The board approved the following items in the consent agenda.
- Accepted the election canvas from the spring 2025 election
- Hired Angela Ingram as the 7-8 English teacher for the 2025-2026 school year
- Approved the overnight camp trip for the MFHS Cheerleading Camp, June 20th-23rd, 2025.
New Business
- Matt Crawford, Isaac Zuniga, and Jill Feinstein were sworn in and seated as board members.
- Lindsey Wise was elected President, Jill Feinstein was elected vice president, and Paul Lidy was elected secretary.
- The Board of Education Calendar was set for the 2nd Tuesday of the month, starting in July.
- Administrator contracts were approved as presented.
- The art room iPads were declared excess property and donated to the Foundation. The Foundation is purchasing new iPads for the design class and will use the sale of the older iPads to help offset the cost.
